Lex van Loon started his study Technical Medicine at the University of Twente, The Netherlands in 2007. During his studies, he has been working for the Experimental Center of Technical Medicine (ECTM) as a student assistant. He finished his master degree in Technical Medicine in 2013 with a master thesis performed at the ICU of Erasmus MC – Sophia Children’s Hospital. The title of his thesis was: “A mathematical model for simulating pediatric cardiovascular physiology in scenario-based training”. In December 2014 he at started working at the ECTM at the University of Twente. His work consists of 50 percent of teaching and 50 percent PhD research.
